How much is it to post an advert?

It is free to post a normal listing (even for dealerships). The only thing we charge for is featured listings, which is charged at R150 for 3 weeks.

What are the acronyms?

How long will be advert be on the site for?

You advert will remain on the website for 4 weeks. It will be deleted some time during the 28th day after its posting.

How will people contact me about my advert?

There is a built in email contact form for every advert on the site. People cannot see your email address until you have replied to them. You can also post you telephone number.

I need to upload a lot of vehicles. Is there any easy way to do this?

We offer a batch upload service charged at R2 per vehicle, at a minimum of 25 vehicles. This is handy for dealerships who have a large amount of vehicles in their showroom, and do not have time to upload each vehicle. Contact us for more info on this

The make of my car is not on the list, what do I do?

If the make of your car is not on our list, you can either use the "other" listing or contact us and we will make it, just for you!

Why is the website called cars-sale.co.za?

Yes, we know that cars-sale.co.za is a really stupid name, since it makes no sense. So why are we caleld cars-sale? To get more views for you advert. The term "cars sale" gets over 7 million searches a month in South Africa. By having the exact search term as the domain name, the site will rank better in google, and therefore get more traffic, giving you more cars for sale, and more sales for your adverts!

Can I advertise my business on the site?

If you would like to place an advert on the site (not a vehicle listing!), follow the advertise with us link. We offer various advertising packages for advertising your company on the site, from as little as R250 a week.

I have been scammed! What can I do?

As stated in the terms and conditions, neither cars-sale.co.za or any of its employee's or affilaites can be held responsible for any or all damages incurred by using the site. You can report the details to you local Police Station, and we will help as we can by providing the police with all the information relevant to the advert which lost you money, but that is all we can do for you.
