When selling a car on cars-sale.co.za, you want as many people to view you advert as possible. Here are a few tips to getting more views, and more replies to your advert.

Firstly, be as descriptive as possible. Make sure you click all the relevant boxes, fill in all the info on the sell a car form, and write a decent length desciption of the car. This wil lhelp people find you car advert on both cars-sale.co.za, and on google

Be honest. If you actually want to sell the car, be honest. If the CV joints are finished or the car makes a squeeking noise when turning left, , state that in the advert. You are wasting both your time and the possible buyers time if you arange to meet up and the car is not what you said it was.

Upload photos. You can upload 3 photos of the car to cars-sale.co.za. Use them all! Put a photo of the interior
as well, as this is often requested when people contact you for the car.

Make sure your contact details are correct. Firstly you advert won't appear on the site unless you confim it by email,
secondly people won't be able to contact you if you don't put in the correct details. Kind of defeats the point of advertising the car in the first place?

Post at peak hours. The busiest internet times in South Africa are between 9 and 10 in the morning, and around midday. Why? Because most South African's can only access the internet at work, and usually do so when they first arrive at work and have their morning coffee, or at lunch time when the boss is out. Try posting your advert during these times to get a better response.
